A virtually universally interchangeable word for verbs and adjectives that usually pertains to the consumption of something (verb) or a different emotional or physical state (adjective).

"Billy, are you sure you want to hoss a FOURTH cup of coffee?"

"Did you see that gym bro today? He was pretty hossed man."
