He was a part of the french national team which won the FIFA world cup in 1998 and UEFA Euro 2000. His other medals include UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, World Club Championship, Spanish Premiera Liga, Copa Del Ray, Serie A among many others.

Yet his last match of his glittering career was his most infamous. Where he headbutted an Italian player in the world cup final only to be ejected for the match.
