Indie Thrashing (verb)

Definition: To render someone speechless from mentioning an indie band they’ve never heard of, the more obscure the better.

Person A: Fotos 3rd album is a let down.
Person B: Why?
Person A: It’s not as good as their second album Nach Dem Goldrausch, it's too post-rock influenced instead of their signature indie pop, they need to go back to their roots.
Person B: Well I don’t know what to say to that.
Person C: Dude, you just got a real indie thrashing.
