Every year, on April 4th white Americans and African Americans “reverse” their systemic roles.

Meaning, white people behave as slaves while black people behave as their masters.

White person : Why is Mitchel obeying everything that Sage and Karolyn say?

Black person : Because it’s April 4th/reverse the roles day. Now stop asking questions and go pick some cotton.

White person : Yes, massa.
