A blueberry is a berry that, despite itâs name, is not actually blue. Itâs plural form (said when there is more than one blueberry) is blueberries. It is a, usually sweet, purple berry that is most popular in British Columbia, which is known for producing blueberries. Blueberries are native to North America and is therefore one of the only commercially-available fruits/berries. Blueberries also used to be called âstar fruitsâ because of the star shape that is formed at the bottom of the blueberry.
