Pulling a David is applicable to only teachers, it is when the teacher is in school but doesn't give enough of a shit about his students to hold a class for them.

Student 1: Hey, why is Mrs. Norris not in the class yet, I saw her in the teacher's lounge
Student 2: Aw Man!! I think she's Pulling a David

Spokey Wheeler is an old senile man who, in the 80s, was fucked up on drugs and was in many gay orgies. Spokey's in today's world usually end up as school headmasters who really don't give a shit about their lives and grow long hair to infuse their hair with cocaine to snort while in meetings.
