Methedrine

A prescription drug introduced in 1937 by Burroughs Wellcome LTD and available until 1963 when the company took it off the market. Methedrine is a trade name (trademark). The chemical name is N-methylamphetamine, usually referred to as methamphetamine or "meth".

My grandmother took Methedrine to lose weight but it made her kinda crazy.

bennie

benefit - usually refers to a benefit offered by an employer; plural: bennies

It's hard to believe I'm going to be a government worker, but hey, you can't beat the bennies.
