Originally from Star Trek, used to mean two people joining their consciousness together. In day to day use means exchanging ideas without barriers.

Spock, during a mind-meld: My mind to your mind. My thoughts to your thoughts.

Some guy to another guy: let's have a mind meld about this after lunch
