Run and Stop

n. Used as such: "The Run and Stop"
When an extremely awkward individual, usually carrying a large backpack or a lot of books, starts running in a scurried manner for no apparent reason, only to stop and start walking at a normal pace again about three seconds later.
Coined at Brandeis University.

Person 1: That awkward kid started running for no reason on the way back from class today.
Person 2: Yeah, he always does the Run and Stop.
