Fihire

Ignoble business practice in which an employee is given the option to choose between being fired or accepting a lower possition with less pay and status. The employee usually takes whatever is offered, since in this day and age the prospect of being left on the streets is frankly terrifying. The term comes from the contraction of fired and hired. Also know as Schrödinger's Contract, since at some point of the process you have a job and lack one at the same exact time.

a british person who decides to go out & ends up sitting in the corner refusing to have a good time. usually very "sensitive" (read: crazy). tends to be very bad at playing telephone by not being sexually suggestive enough when allowed to create the sentence.

he was a real pissy pants last nite at the pub- lets never hang out with him again.
