a friendly though violent form of dancing usually associated with rock/punk concerts and music where the mosher jumps, yells, pushes, shoves and holds his/her hands in the air.

Warning: While moshing be sure hold your hands like so: \m/ \m/ except when a crowdsurfer has picked you to be their cushion as your extended fingers will not be able withstand the pressure, try to use the palm of your hand.
