Coming from the Swedish Netflix series 'Young Royals' the term "erik" is used by YRTWT stans to express the feeling of being extremely excited, sad, scared, nervous or happy.
The term stems from the death of the fictional crown prince of Sweden, Erik, who dies in the series and leaves his little brother Prince Wilhelm devastated and alone.
