Adjective (used with noun); something with both good and bad aspects of its occurrence, but the bad points are so astonishingly awful you are left stunned. It is often so difficult to overlook the awfulness that you are left laying on the ground in a taco bell contemplating serious scientific theories on how to jump to a parallel universe where the only change is that the awful occurrence in which you have previously endured is less (or not at all) awful.

The most important thing to remember about the year 2016 is that it is almost over!

Time will pass inevitably, so we should make the best of it, no matter what hells it has brought.

"This past semester was like 2016- it was a lot of fun, but I just barely escaped death-by-fourth-period chemistry!"

"How's your day been going, my buddy man?" Oliver asked, as he stopped in-front of me.
"My day has been like 2016, pal. Great things have happened, but I can't seem to stop all the unhappiness and existential thoughts from seeping in," and as I said this, his soft lips formed a frown. I could tell he was troubled with the same issue. I felt thankful that I had him. If only he could know that I loved him. I wondered if I would ever escape this 2016-style hellhole that is my emotions. I'm thankful for emotions, I just don't know if I'll ever be able to bare the pain that they present.
