in MMORPG, to become the target of a gank upon rez i.e. to be killed by another player immediately after resurrection

I was rez-ganked in Horde territory seven times last night!

most commonly used in MMORPG, such as World of Warcraft. An emote (see emoticon) to express a character as sad, upset, distraught, or otherwise unhappy. Used verbally ("slash cry") to express disappointment over something trivial.

"I lost a bet today and I was like /cry."
