Lamb Shank Day

An annual Blackpool tradition occurring on the third Saturday of every July, wherein the locals construct a ceremonial pile of lamb shanks, leaving them out to dry in the summer heat.

"Oh yeah, me and my mates got trashed a few years ago and got arrested for disturbing the Lamb Shank Day pile."
