Chops

To get rejected, ignored, or if something bad happens to you. “Chops” or “the chops” are the only forms of the word. You can say it in the beginning of a sentence, as a verb, or as an adjective.

Chops, my mom left me at the store. Maria got the chops because her card was declined.
