A person, usually a woman, who demonstrates unnecessary obstinance towards you, e.g. the teacher who marks you down as late even if you are so by only 10 seconds.

- Mrs. Smith gave me a detention for being late, even though the bell was still ringing when I got in!
- Really? What a boot!

- My mum won't let me go, the old boot.
