On the surface, âTu me manquesâ means I miss you in English.
However, it has a deeper connotation to it, itâs more like youâre missing from me, youâre a part of me, youâre crucial to my existence, just like a limb, organ or blood.
(In French, the concept of missing is passive: you donât miss someone but someone is missing to you.)
Sasha: âTu me manques.â
(I miss you.)
Kev: âTu me manques aussi.â
(I miss you too.)
