/ju Ê(É)n, ju Ê(É)n/
A new word to replace "American", meaning
adjective:
relating to or characteristic of the United States or its inhabitants.
noun:
1. a native or citizen of the United States.
2. the English language as it is used in the United States; American English.
This replacement is suggested because many think "American" should refer to the landmass known as the Americas, not the country, the United States of America.
"James is Canadian, not Usian."
"There were many Usian food products on the shelf, such as Hershey's chocolate and Cheeto's chips"
