A consequence of term on the website Urban Dictionary which has retained its place in the trending category, due to the fact that users of the website keep it trending by coming back to it wondering why it's trending.

Blimey, why is so and so popping up everywhere? They're turning into a Watermelon Sugar, no one's given them attention in years, other than wondering why they're still around.
