Also used to describe a state where no real progress is made, akin to âspinning tiresâ but inadvertantly more wasteful in terms of time and money.
Instead of getting a dumptruck to drop soil the neighbor murdawged around and moved 10 loads in his pickup truck. The gas bill for the soil trips exceeded the dump fee and he wasted the day.
