There are four different type of emo people:
#1 Someone who self harms and pretends to be depressed for attention

#2 Someone who is truly depressed and self harms, but feels guilty and tries to hide their cuts
#3 Someone who is edgy or...
The actual kind of emo #4 People who like the emo subculture. They dress in band t-shirts such as Black Veil Brides or Panic! at the Disco. or they just dress in black clothing. They either like the "sucky" music people have been talking about or they listen to truly good emo music such as Black Veil Brides, My Chemical Romance or Panic! at the Disco or other bands such as Green Day, Linkin Park, etc. Some emo people have friends and others have no friends and are lonely and so being emo is their only escape. The emo subculture is truly misunderstood because of all the posers and so that is why emos get so much hate. So please, stop hating on emos.

Evony: Well, maybe if you truly understood our culture you would stop hating on me. (pulls out iPhone of Knives & Pens by BVB) I'm not an annoying emo poser, Emily. Maybe if you truly understood me you would stop being so damn rude! I like emo music & I dress like an emo. I don't cut, I just am myself with a few emo exceptions. I don't cut, I'm not depressed, what does that mean? Oh, that means I am the true emo.
