Scubble

Term from game called "osu!". Scubbles are these perfect passthrough sliders that are almost a complete circle. They therefore look like bubbles and bubbles the map will get: use this slider to make your map impossible to get popped! Their provocative nature makes your map stand out from all the not-scubbled maps. ScubDomino has one of these bad boys in almost every map.

I was gonna pass up this map for nomination untill I saw that scubble. Now it's just destiny playing its course.

Sotarks wave slider

Slider in the shape of a wave using 4 anchors and often being unsymmetric and/or used as a slow ending slider.

Note pattern from rhythm game called "osu!". Jumps are split into a 1-2 combo and this is supposed to increase the readability. Term and pattern popularized by mapper called Sotarks.

"Bro i can't believe I failed at the 1-2s again, it's literally the only hard part of the map. Give me my pp already."

Butt sliders

Mappers term from game called "osu!". Harshly curved sliders also known as the 'butt sliders' is one of the terminologies that'd been used by only the most ancient mappers from the very early years on where bezier curves were the standards.
In it's glorious days, that type of mapping technique/sliderart was primarily being used to satisfy
a certain group of people and to secretly boost the map's reputation/popularity by small but impactful percentage. It was mesmerizing to see how that sparkling beauty had conquered the erotic sides of those still innocent circle gamers. Nowadays that kind of technique is only rarely being seen and it's terminology only appears to be used by a very small clan of furrious mappers,
mainly being rejected duo it's aesthetics seeming to be too 'ugly'. However, these types of sliders could make a huge comeback in the future as when they appear in a group of two they can perfectly illustrate a female's bust size of at least '2', along with having a humongous potential in revolutionizing the anime mapping meta as the general usage of double ds much skin backgrounds had been denied by the big leaders.

Off-angle symmetry

Patterns that contain a reflection symmetry and the line/axis of symmetry is not pointed in a cardinal direction.

Literally jumps with the rhythm of a stream. The mapper probably got an aneurysm when he made that.
