Conceit

An obsolete term which people use to be clever when they actually mean concept. Often used when talking about film styles and ideas. Please use concept, unless you actually are Shakespeare.

The main conceit of the film was unique to this director. Oh, sorry, I meant concept. I'm so dumb.
