Chomboggler

Chomboggler or Chom for short is the most alpha dog you’ll ever see. Chom runs the dog park and impregnates all of the female dogs.

Book characters are often extremely cool or there is a character in the books who is. so "Straight out the books" means someone who is extremely cool.
