(Agree with the first def, but want to embellish.

Type thing is an expression of normalizing things, suggesting that everything is "as usual."

(Added to the end of a word or phrase as if it is a punctuation mark).

My anger management instructor said "type thing" after almost everything she said. It made me feel more comfortable in class.

Examples:

"The restrooms are located just outside this meeting room, type thing."

"From this course, you will learn helpful new tools, type thing."

Other examples:

"My car was dirty so I went to the car wash, type thing."

"Let's go out tonight for dinner and a movie, type thing."

allergy salute

The movement of arm, hand and fingers to wipe across a runny nose. Suggests symptoms of allergy or cold/flu.

My son was constantly doing the allergy salute so I took him to the doctor.

celebrity athlete

A person from professional or international sports who has evolved into fame outside of their sport. They are highly welcomed at special red carpet events, and are regarded as champions in their sports.

"The paparazzi enjoy taking pics of the celebrity athlete. Examples include David Beckham, Bruce Jenner, Michael Jordan and Martina Navratilova."

distracted dressing

Diverted attention while getting dressed which can lead to incorrectly worn clothing. Causes may include television viewing, use of electronic devices, or conversing/arguing with others while dressing. May result in mismatched socks, unzipped fly, inaccurate buttoning or wardrobe malfunction, etc.

I forgot to put on my belt when getting dressed today. My pants kept falling down. It was a case of distracted dressing.

pee dribble

Droplets of urine on the front of a toilet seat and/or on the floor below. Generally there due to the weak and uncontrolled pee stream of an old man. Especially bothersome for the female of the species using a unisex bathroom.

Ann: "Did you see that pee dribble on the toilet?"

Sally: "Yeah, it was disgusting. He didn't even lift the toilet seat."
