A more cultured way of saying that a business (usually a chain) carries products of good quality under the category they specialize in. Taken from fast food chain Arbyâs slogan: âwe have the meatsâ. Can also be âhadâ or âhasâ depending on sentence being in past, present, or future tense.
âDonât get me a gift card to Home Depot. Get me one to Loweâs instead, because Loweâs has the meats.â
âI think we can all agree that Arbyâs does NOT have the meats, unless weâre talking about their roast beef.â
âBlockbuster had the meats back in the day. Itâs really sad that they closed down.â
