Internet slang that consists of two letters that are intended to show the expression of extreme laughter. Usually used when someone tells an extremely funny joke or meme, but can't express their feelings because they're behind a screen. You don't see this often in 2021+ because most people type/ send emojis instead.

Person 1: My mom died in a car crash
Person 2: XD
Person 1: this isn't a joke
Person 2: I don't care its funny
