Neo-Liberal

Neoliberalism refers to a political-economic philosophy that has had major implications for government policies beginning in the 1970s and increasingly prominent since 1980– that de-emphasizes or rejects government intervention in the economy, focusing instead on structured free-market methods, and fewer restrictions on business operations and that the most important class of rights to expand are those of property enforcement, and of opening nations to entry by multinational corporations. In a broader sense it is used to describe the movement towards using the market to achieve a wide range of social ends previously filled by government.
It is generally hostile to protectionism, social democracy and socialism. It is often at odds with fair trade and other movements that argue that labor rights and social justice should have a greater priority in international relations and economics.

A stark contrast to the earlier entry.

The Democrats in America are nothing more than a bunch of Neo-liberals, and the Republicans are freaking Neo-cons!

Neo Humanism

Neo-humanism is the most expansive human sentiment and embraces everything throughout the universe. According to Shrii PR Sarkar, propounder of Neo-Humanist philosophy:

“All molecules, atoms, electrons, protons, positrons and neutrons are the veritable expressions of pure consciousness. Those who remember this reality, who keep this realization ever alive in their hearts, are said to have attained perfection in life … When the underlying spirit of humanism is extended to everything, animate and inanimate, in this universe – I have designated this as neo-humanism. This neo-humanism will elevate humanism to universalism, the cult of love for all created beings of this universe”

(The Liberation of Intellect – Neo-Humanism, AM Publications, Kolkata 1982).

Neo Humanism is an ecological, holistic, comprehensive philosophy. Drawing upon ancient teachings on the levels of consciousness, a neo-humanistic approach to education seeks to develop the more subtle capacities of the human mind.

Neo-Humanism is the spirit of benevolence. To teach love one must embody it. To embody love one must see all as divine. To see all as divine one must practice methods of contemplation and inner reflection. Only then will one embody the true spirit of universal outlook in their thoughts and actions.

Neo-McCarthyism

Neo-McCarthyism is when you investigate just about everything about everyone out of paranoia. Over-thorough secrurity inspections at airports are an example of Neo-McCarthyism. This term was coined by Mike Newhouse in the classic movie Dazed and Confused.

Mike: I didn't think drugs and alchohol were such a big deal they had to resort to Neo-McCarthyism to get rid of it.
Pink: I think they're just worried that some of us are having too good a time.

neo mode

In first-person shooter games:

The act of whiffing on one-hit delete snipers, pistols, rifles, SMGs, abilities; The act of disconnecting in a middle of a game, may it be unranked or competitive; The act of AFK-ing during a game because of household chores.

In Voice Calls:

The act of disconnecting during voice calls; The lag that causes miscommunication during voice calls.

Where is Neo? Is he neo mode again? I bet he's folding clothes or washing the laundry again. But it's most likely of his ISP, PLDT.

Neo wannabe

Unoriginal individuals who pretend to be Neo in person or online in order to make themselves look cool or because they’re obsessed fans.

Oh man I hate Neo wannabes so much! I wish they could be creative and have some individuality and not copy people!
