A neighborhood in Las Vegas where drug use, prostitution, and criminal activity is extremely common. It used to be one of the most affluent areas in town during the 1970s when it was populated with celebrities but has experienced a steady decline since then. This can be attributed to the abundance of apartment complexes run by slumlords, illegal immigrants, Section 8 housing, and its inner city location.
The boundaries of Crack Alley are Flamingo to the south, Desert Inn to the north, Maryland to the east, and Paradise to the west. However, most of the crime is concentrated along Sierra Vista and Cambridge.
The crime levels of Crack Alley are among the highest in the city and are rivaled only by Naked City, the Alphabet Streets, and the less-touristy parts of Downtown. Las Vegas attempted to lower the crime rate by constructing a police substation adjacent to Sierra Vista which has proven somewhat effective.
Crack Alley is in close proximity to important establishments in Las Vegas. These include UNLV, the Boulevard Mall, the Convention Center, Sunrise Hospital, and the Country Club. Most of these establishments have taken extra security precautions to ensure safety to locals who frequent these high-traffic places.
Although Las Vegas and the police have both taken action to improve this neighborhood (and they have so far seen marginal success), it still remains one of the most dangerous areas in town.
I was driving to the Boulevard Mall once when I accidentally took a wrong turn and drove through Crack Alley where I saw drug deals on the street corners.

At most Nascar Racetracks,the backstretch is call Chickenbone Alley.Mainly because these are usually the cheap seats where fans sit.Term derived from Rednecks throwing chickenbones down toward the track during the race.
We couldn't afford the good seats, so we bought tickets on
Chickenbone Alley.

Politically incorrect police term for dead jane doe found in alley or dumpster. Usually A victim of rape, murder and/or drug overdoze.
The Police use this term about victim of murder or drug overdoze. "We found another Sally in the alley" in Inglewood.

Aarica is pulling a Kirstie Alley, shes hiding in the bathroom while eating a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich.
OMG...how Kirstie Alley? Hiding food from us while were starving and he's off enjoying a buffet.

a derogatory term used to characterize a small community of african americans who lived in poor, low income areas in Mississippi. Due to the way the houses were were situated made narrow pathways in between each row which people referred to as alleys. Because the houses (known as "shotgun" houses) were so close together tenants did not have a lawn so people hung out and socialized among other things in the areas between. Its origin can be traced backed to Cleveland, MS as far back as the 1960s. Although it is not used as much today, every person born or raised in the area can vouch for its meaning.
I heard that the alley bats across town are nothing nice.

A (usually adolescent) person who listens to several undeground genres (crust punk/ d-beat/ Thrash Black/Street Punk...) Is poor. Is messy, fucked-up and usually starts smoking cheap cigarettes and drinking alcohol at a young age. Hangs out with a small group of individuals who are usually in the same bands, and would go as far as killing a poser if they enter the territory. they usually have one alley they chill at and are part of a tight underground scene.
Boy: "Dad, can I hang out with those cool punk kids?"
Dad: "No! Those alley punks would beat you up if you go in their alley!"
