fandom

A bunch of self-centered fucks who base their entire personality around a franchise, wether it be of video games; movies; comics etc.
They also hate eachother for some reason (I'm also a member of some fandoms but DEAR GOD)

"No one hates a fandom more than the fandom itself."

BELOW IS AN IMAGE OF MORROWIND FANS AS SOON AS YOU MENTION SKYRIM

The Anime Fandom is one of the most toxic communities I've ever came across.

fandom

The word "Fandom" is a fusion between Fan and Kingdom
Fans of a certain thing make "Fanart" (Fan+Art)
Their art is expressed by different ways:
-Drawings
-Poetry
-Fanfiction
-Music
-O.C from the thing
-Cosplay
-Much more!

This fandom is horrible! The Fanbase makes me cringe!
I'm in the Homestuck fandom and I love roleplaying as my O.C!

fandom

Fandom is a cultural phenomenon that has experienced increased participation alongside consumerism and postmodern society. Fandom refers to a variety of collective behaviors performed by persons who have strongly and socially identified with an aspect of consumer culture, mass media, or some other artifact or non-material culture. Collective behaviors may include being active in fandom social media sites, attending fandom events in public, dressing in a manner that expresses one's solidarity with an aspect of consumer culture, possessing and purchasing paraphernalia that confirms one's attachment to an aspect of consumer culture.

Fandom has been known to affect adult development over a person's life course in both positive and negative ways.

fandom

1. The most disturbing phenomenon of our generation.

2. A group of people all obsessed with the same thing. Usually a work of fiction being either a movie, book, TV show, anime, comic, video game, etc...

3. A way for lonely people to feel a part of something larger than themselves.

4. A collective of creepy obsessive type people that only serves to feed and encourages each other in unhealthy obsessions and exaggerated exultation of non-existent people, creatures, places and objects.

"Oh my god, I wanted to search for pictures of that actor from that movie we saw last night but I was inundated with terrible text posts and reaction gifs from a fandom I didn't even know existed! Ugh!"
