Gender is not what is between your legs, but where you feel you belong along the gender spectrum.
No one but you can decide your gender.
Often confused with biological sex (Male or Female), which is in fact what parts you have on your body.
Person 1: "Alex came out as agender the other day. I don't know how I feel."
Person 2: "Good for them! And as for how you feel, you should respect them because its their life, not yours. Alex's gender doesn't impact how you live, so you should respect their choice to come out."

Something distinct from sex that is usually binary but not always. Non binary gendered people are real and valid. A mismatch between sex and gender is what defines transgenderism. Gender is often confused with 'gender expression' by wannabe-inclusive people who don't realise they are actually invalidating a lot of people with this conflation.

A term used to describe how someone feels about themselves. Not synonymous with sex, as it is how you feel about your gender rather than biological chromosomes.
Gender can be defined as male, female, non-binary, and other genders people feel fit to have.
My biological sex is male, but I feel more in-between. Therefore I am a non-binary gender.
I feel more like a man than a woman, so I'm a trans boy.
