Prefix- homo latin for meaning the "same". Not to be confused with Homo-Sapien which would be a Human Being.
Synonym - Gay not to be confused with gay as in happy. and the offensive word fag means nothing more then a ciggerete to those in the UK

A person who is gay or Is interested in the same sex. This is a word that is usually broken down as homo which means same and sexuality which is someone's sexual orientation and put together it makes same sexual orientation (homosexuality)
