"Pet Sounds", to me, is the greatest adolescent soundtrack ever created.
It is truly one of the greatest albums of all time. Besides Black Sabbath's "Paranoid", Pink Floyd's "The Wall", and Iggy & The Stooges' "Raw Power", I'd say that "Pet Sounds" is one of the greatest soundtracks for adolescent life you'll ever find. Even I as a teenager today can relate to the lyrics, albeit the fact that this album is over 40 years old.
I dare you to find an alienated teen that isn't able to relate to "I Just Wasn't Made For These Times". Well, considering the fact that most teens are into the latest no talent ass clowns that are currently plaguing the airwaves, I bet you'll have to get him or her to actually listen to the lyrics without becoming bored first. I didn't believe the hype surrounding this album until recently, mostly because I thought of the Beach Boys as a 60's surfer rock band (I've heard most of their singles throughout the years, and like most of 'em).
Hopefully 100 years from now, "Pet Sounds" will be listened to, analyzed, and appreciated for its greatness.
Brian Wilson is a genius.
"Pet Sounds" is one of my favorite albums of all time, and one of the greatest albums of the 20th century. Period!

A human who sees them selves as a pet, Often a loved one such as a significant other being their master. Wears leashes, collars and are lead around by their master on the leash. Can be male or female.
The goth human pet and her fiance were kicked off of a bus because she wore a collar and leash.

When a teacher tries to become 'cool' or level with their students. Usually given to a teacher that has failed at the attempt.

A person or persons/entity that acquires a pet(s) for the sole purpose of selling them for more than they paid. They don't normally put much time, effort, energy or money into caring for the animal. And indeed, don't usually have the animal long enough to get to know it's personality, character, ect. There is normally no bonding with the animal. There will only be maybe one picture of said animal, taken for advertising purposes.
There is this old man down the road, a pet flipper. He gets puppies & kittens for free, then he sells them for crazy amounts of money. He barely cares for them while they are in his care a short time.

A trendy but otherwise useless homosexual, possibly a transvestite, kept around by a high-powered, attractive woman. His only discernible contribution is as a walking fashion accessory.
Miss Jay, America's next top model, is Tyra Bank's pet fag. His contribution to the show is minimal, and often spends a great deal of time sitting there looking like a caricature of a woman. Allegedly a 'modeling coach', he rarely says anything, and rarer still says anything useful.
