Often occurs on video websites, such as YouTube.
A user begins by listening to a familiar song, and once the song is over they will sometimes click a Related Video on the side of the page. They can do this for the picture, or because the song is by the same artist, or whatever reason. Hence "sidebar".
Before long, and after several songs, the user will look back at their viewing history and notice they've gathered an odd, but awesome group of songs. Hence "journey."
When you see a "sidebar journey" comment, feel free to give them a thumbs up for stepping outside of their comfort zone.
Johnny: Had an awesome sidebar journey today, listened to some good s***.

Commonly appears in freshmen year of high school early sophomore; when the beer you had from a drinking kickback you had outside needs to be retrieved from a far place and brought to another destination.

its a fart. in german, "fahrt" means journey, so we refer to a fart, when being polite and hidden, as a german journey.

An awkward memory brought to the surface during a Journey song. The memory is usually of a relationship that ended badly which is brought on by the whining singing and bad 1980s sound of the Rock band Journey. Depression and thoughts of suicide follow a Journey Moment.
