The opposite of a Not-For-Profit organization. For example, a company that will go the extra length to make a dollar cutting corners contrary to industry standards and screwing their employees. Can also refer to organizations who say they are non-profit but really are not.

profit whore

A company that cares about their "bottom line" more than quality of goods (even to the extreme of knowingly pushing harmful/dangerous goods).

That car company refuses to do a recall on a defective part because their finance department said paying the occasional law suit is cheaper than an official recall. They are "profit whores."
