SurReality Television

The unfathomably bizarre, multi-season extension of a reality show which, with sly sleight of hand, was titled "The Apprentice", a clue so brazen that no one picked up on it.

In the first surreal season, the former "host" is targeted to become the unwitting "apprentice" to a foreign leader. Dimwitted, propped up as a hilariously unstable and unqualified presidential candidate, he actually boldly announces that the election is "rigged", then is persuaded he has "won", is ushered into office and, through his comprehensive weakness and vanity, manipulated to bring havoc to America. Four seasons later, ultimately "fired", the delusional apprentice believes he has instead triumphed. He convinces millions of others of the veracity of this delusion, dividing Americans on every significant issue. So swept up in the flash and fizz of their SurReality Television show, they don't even notice what has been taken from them, finally fulfilling the foreign leader's goal.

Television Bitch

When you are sitting on your computer all day watching Tv shows and your mom gets up from a nap, pissed from spending money that is not hers and takes away your computer.

Steve: Damn Joe, Spartacus is kickin' ass! I'll try to finish this season in one day!
Bitch: Give me your computer, thats all you do everyday! Sit and watch those raunchy shows, I've had enough!
Joe: Wow we really have a Television Bitch on our hands...

Reality Television

Something gone so horribly wrong in television, people need to stop watching this stuff. Showcases a bunch of whiny idiots causing constant drama and strife among each other. Very rarely has that one guy who "gets it" and doesnt really talk throughout the whole show.

Rare reality television shows that I actually ever liked:

The surreal life.

Thats about it. Stop watching MTV.

reality television

A mutated bread of documentry television that was once inovative, but today is a faux depiction of life, with scripted lines, and ignorant participants. Shows are typically pumped with drama, alcohol and sex. Reality tv is partially responsable for the downfall of American society.

The MTV show "the Real World" is a prime example of reality television. This show places 7 random strangers in a house in order to depict "reality". The show focuses on the housemates' adventures at parties, the sexual escapades they participate in, and their drunken rage.

television doppelganger

A television character doppelganger. It's said that every one of us has one.

Catherine from CSI is totally her television doppelganger.

pure television

That feeling that life is imitating television instead of the other way around. When the lighting and circumstances, and occasionally music and costume seem to obey the laws of some preternatural executive producer in the sky and subjects become witness to their lives in much the same way that they would witness a film or television show. Even when alone individuals in the thralls of "pure television" will act. It's fun when it only happens once in a while and one doesn't realize what's happened until after the fact, but if you're aware of it as it's happening? Self Hating Terror or Blissed Out Egomania are almost always the result.

(To a friend, Point out man on the subway whose clothes, hair, accessories, body language and facial grooming scream television): See that guy over there? How post modern - he's pure television!

facebook television

Person creates a new picture or pictures everyday and puts them on facebook. This making a series of show for you to follow. Props include any thing seen from day to day living. Make up and hair dye to go with the costume. So busy with their series, the person may neglect to see any type of reality around them.. if a whore, will not clean the house, because she does not have money to buy for cleaning supplies or instruments. Very dramatic postings will depict each scene of the day. Person will be sucked into their facebook show so much, they are absolutely insecure without the feedback to keep them artificially comfortable in their piggish sludge surroundings.

Tiff started her facebook television series "My God, I am a oog boogy doll and constantly lash out."

We all got to exhibit Benn's facebook television series. But towards the end we were disappointed to find strange articles of dirty clothing laying around in randomn places along with other various items.. also some very weird stains on a blacking carpet. Last but not least grudge and shit all over the kitchen...
