Carlton United Tragedy

1. Song from the album "The Stage is Set" -Lyrical Commission.

2. A mindset/disease affecting the greater part of the Australian hip-hop community since as early as the mid-to late 80's but the earliest RECORDED cases began in approximately 2003.

Undiagnosed, said disease can result in ultimate suffering for the individual in question. Sufferers develop symptoms aged anywhere between 16-years of age to their mid-30's although onset of said disease can ensnare victims as early as 11.(In exceptional cases especially in Boomtown, Melburn, Sydney and Adlayde.) Though not a terminal disease it can linger dormant or increasingly active until death.

Symptoms may include: Being a addict to heavy drums/drugs, the son of a broken family, (empty) Cartons in the vicinity, Carving beats like some carcass meat and the reported feeling of being "Partial to insanity, Half-full in a fantasy..."(And in certain extreme cases the indescribable, undeniable desire to ingest bulk piss but only possessing the money for a short bus trip... usually resulting in 'shenanigans', 'horseplay' or most commonly 'tomfoolery' .(see Ex 2.)

The only treatment available currently in Australia involves several months of repetitious 'Oz-hiphopology', occasional 'racking' of luxury items, 'artistic stress release' and detoxing the body of 'evil toxins' with copious amounts of beer... (if beer is not available any drink over 4.5% alcohol is acceptable as is Cask Wine(see Goon) under Aus$11.)

So far, there are no known survivors...

Red Water Tragedy

A NE Ohio based rock/metal band. Founded by Subtle End singer/guitarist Paul Galloway and drummer Tory Page. They were soon joined by guitarist James Holsopple and bassist "Sandy" RimRocker. Due to creative differences the band parted ways. Months later Galloway and Page reunited and brought in another bassist. John Dobosh filled in for a couple months before leaving to join another band. At that point long time friend Shaun Stiwald stepped in and joined the band as a bass player. Up until that time he had been playing guitar but made the switch to join the band. RWT can be found playing local clubs in the NE Ohio area at this time. They are also currently working on new material for when they go into the studio in Fall of '09. They can be found on www.myspace.com/redwatertragedy

Main influences are Machine Head, Killswitch Engage, Tool, Down, Acid Bath, LOA and many others.

a well thought tragedy

In what is becoming a monotonous scene of breakdown anthems, AWTT bring their hearts to the table over and over again. Every-time blowing minds more than the time before. AWTTโ€™s love and appreciation for metal is reflected in their killer riffs and melodic choruses. After that complete brutality takes over. Having been compared to bands such Dead to Fall, As I Lay Dying, I Killed The Prom Queen, and other uprising bands in the metal-core scene, A Well Thought Tragedy is guaranteed to reel you in like a blood thirsty barracuda. Unlike a lot of metal-core bands out today, these fellers break the mold introducing head bopping riffs that even the inexperienced of this style can appreciate. AWTT brings elements of every style from old/new school hardcore, big hair/groove metal, to just plain out brutal...with a hint of punk rock here and there. Be prepared for a new sound in this "every band sounds the same" era. Seriously, you won't be disappointed.

3.Further Down The Spiral We Come Crashing
4.Murder with Your Eyes
5.A Quiet Separation

"Scene" kid poser: OMGZ I just thought of a band name.
Me: What?
"Scene" kid poser: A Well Thought Tragedy.
Me: Why don't you go lie down in the middle of a well thought intersection.

The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise

A story that the Jedi would not tell you.

'Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.' - Sheev Palpatine
