A town filled with carnie circus folk-like beings. it also feaures scum of the earth dwellings used to house the carnie folk and thier VW jetta's. Painted Pengiun in Hawthorn mall is the headquartes for the scum to orginize the spreding of thier scummyness throughout Bloomington-Normal

Really not more ghetto than Yonkers at all, a somewhat misunderstood place. It would be hard to argue that Mount Vernon is "so bad" when in fact the part of the Bronx it borders is really not that bad at all. Someone try to tell me that 233rd St & Baychester Ave is the hardcore Bronx. It could probably pass for suburbia! Together the two areas pretty much look like a clone of the North Shore of Staten Island - a distant, jungle-like ghetto.
However, South bleeker st is definitely one spot to avoid

A boring old fart city, filled with boring old people and nothing to do! Small town, lots of drama and very few food choices. Thought of as a hick town, and teenagers usually dont like living there.

An inferior version of Yonkers. The northern half of Mount Vernon is a boring area called Fleetwood that looks like a clone of New Rochelle. The south side is a hellhole ghetto with like 2 white people which adjoins the similar Wakefield section of the Bronx.
Yonkers has 25 distinct neighborhoods. Mount Vernon just has Fleetwood. Who's more culturally sophisticated?
