A person who loves food more than anything on the planet.
“I am a foodie, I’ll literally eat anything and eating food is my hobby and passion.”
Someone who creates furry art but for food
Dan: “So it’s like furry art, but for food.”
Phil: “It’s like a foodie, that’s what I am.”
Dan: “We just invented being a foodie.”
Phil: “We did”
Dan: “We didn’t invent it, you know that’s out there somewhere.”
A term used by people who think that they're knowledgable about food in an effort to convince other people (and themselves) that they are somehow important. In reality, people who really do know a lot and care a lot about food wouldn't be caught dead using this term to describe themselves.
I ordered a fried egg on my burger and when I received it the egg was runny! I smelled like raw egg for the rest of the day! I'm a huge foodie and this is disappointing.
1. Someone that spends enough time in different bars to be able to tell you which place has good nachos and which place has REALLY good nachos.
2. Someone that knows the food/bar special schedules for different bars (e.g. Taco Tuesdays, Wednesday Wings, Thirsty Thursdays).
3. An alcoholic.
His advanced hindsight with respect to our choice of appetizers indicated that he was a bar foodie, or at least had been here drunk on more than 10 occasions.
