The person in question may use alcohol as a tactic to have his way with those who would normally stay well away. It is common that a complete lack of care for both people in the relationship (which is now ruined if he's successful) is exhibited.
It is normal for the individual concerned to have no friends. Despite often voicing concerns about being unpopular with, for example, older girls he may know, he is ultimately led by his penis and inherent need to wreck.
