Table Flip

When situations get too out of hand and either:

A) You must relieve stress somehow.

or

B) You need people's attention.

You simply go and flip a table. This has been used many times in cartoons or movies or whatever, as you know. So. Yeah.

not my table

Not my table” is an idiom that comes from the service industry meaning “not my business” or “not my problem”. Used originally by waitresses to tell beckoning customers in other sections that they were not that waitress’s problem.

Made popular by “Rick and Morty” S3, Ep6

chest table

an attachable/detachable tray rested on the chest of someone eating or drinking while in a slouched position, used when spilling the food or beverage would be likely.

He keeps spilling his food everywhere on the couch. Someone should get him a chest table.

Hash Table

1) A method of accessing values using a function that maps an element of a data structure into an index value, which can then be used to directly access that element.

2) A piece of furniture composed entirely of dried cannabis.

1) So you can either use a binary search on a sorted array to locate a corresponding object and get O(lg n) access time with an O(n lg n) sort time, or you could map the collection to a hash table and get O(1) access time with no sort time.

2) My attempt to sell kitchenware made out of narcotics and other illegal drugs failed horribly, even though the hash tables were a big hit. Literally.
