The law of cause and effect as it applies to giving and receiving cigarettes to/from strangers without accepting payment. The act of giving a cigarette without payment karmically ensures you will also get a cigarette when you are in need, also for no payment.

to chain smoke during your lunch break instead of eating usually because you have no money for food. Since smoking suppresses your appetite, you will not go hungry. A smoker's lunch may sometimes be accompanied with a cup of coffee.

When a group of people walk around in random directions in a public place trying to hide the fact that they are smoking weed.
One time late at night in a parking lot, my friends and I walked around the perimeter passing a blunt back and forth while keeping an eye out for campus security. Had I known we would be out attempting the Smoker's Mile, I would have brought my running shoes.
Similar to the lightswitch couple but unlike social smokers, the lightswitch smoker can start and quit smoking at any time, for long periods of time.
Man :I hate lightswitch smokers because I can't quit smoking.
