The golden age (2015-???), The dank-Memebrian. The era which we live in undoubtedly the pinnacle of memes. What marks this era is the full synchronization of memes and also social media particularly FaceBook and Twitter. Memes are shared in a rate which dwarfs the rate they were shared in the Memebrian Era. Memes in this era are obscure, cryptic and just down right dank. One of the main traits of the dank-Memebrian era is the appearance of 'Super-Memes' essentially a singular meme which would dominate FaceBook groups and Twitter feeds for weeks even months at a time, Harambe, SpongeBob, Mr Crabs, Arthur, Dat Boi, the list goes on. These memes would circulate in their pure form for a while and then they experience a remix period when the meme would be tweaked in a small way to add spice to it until it would ultimately become stale and dies out from over use. Lets move on to YouTube, youtube is still a major contributor to meme culture however the focus has shift from viral videos to exposed videos. Now there are massive YouTube channels which by parody and actively roast and create memes out of other of other people for comedy sake, and it's beautiful. Over all Dank Memes are what keep the internet in shape to keep thriving for what the future beholds for it.

An arguement where the two or more parties use memes to make their points. You can use memes you find on the internet but you cant ise your own memes for a meme battle. Obviously because if you use your own memes you can just keep making new ones to respond to everything with, and the battle will never end. You loose a meme battle if you fail to be able to respond or if your opponent is owning you with better memes than yours. Enjoy meme battling!

A so-called "meme" that is basically an animation loop of a 16 to 18-year-old's OC (original character) doing some random shit. The OC usually is some sort of animal-human hybrid, a furry, or someone who isn't straight. I do not know what else to put.
Guy 1: Hey! Did you see the meme I sent you?
Guy 2: Yeah.
Guy 1: What do you think?
Guy 2: ... I don't get it.
Guy 1: What?
Guy 2: I don't get the meme!
Guy 1: What do you mean?
Guy 2: It's just some animation of an emo furry dancing!
Guy 1: And?
Guy 2: Where is the comedy? Where is the caption saying something funny?
Guy 1: There is no caption.
Guy 2: Then why is this a meme?
Guy 1: I honestly don't know. I think it's called an "animation meme".

Any publicly traded company stock that keeps going up and disregards the fundamentals such as revenue and profits when valuing the underlying company. A meme commonly referenced by the stock market community is that βstonks always go upβ. Hence, any stock that goes up in value beyond most peopleβs imagination is labeled as a meme stock. Commonly happens with stocks of very popular companies that show promising signs of growth for years to come. Due to hype around the company and its future outlook, the price of their stock keeps going up beyond a point that makes logical sense which may or may not result in a steep drop later on once/if the hype dies down.
TSLA and ZM are such meme stocks. They went up in value so quickly even though their revenue and profits donβt add up to their current valuation
