Meme Dropping

The meme version of name dropping; when someone uses memes irl to seem hip, cool, and/or funny. They will also usually do it in order to identify to others that they frequent certain websites where the meme is common (i.e. 4chan)

Guy: So I saw this Pokemon shirt...
Douchebag: i herd you liek mudkipz LOL

Guy 1: Wanna play Scrabble?
Guy 2: Sure, but I never win that game.
Douchebag: You just lost the game!

Guy: That's a weird sculpture.
Douchebag: i'm 12 and what is this?
Guy: NO. Meme dropping makes you a douchebag. Just stop.

Anti-Meme

Anti-Meme: (noun) An Anti-Meme is something that is there but not. It is also referred to as an anomaly at SCP foundation Site 19. An Anti-Meme will make you forget something that you know. You may think that this is impossible, but do you remember why you are looking at this page? Do you remember that time you walked into room, but forgot why you where there. These are just a few examples of an Anti-Meme.

(Doctor) So you have no idea why you did that?

(Patient) No. Wait, what are we talking about?

(Doctor) We where talking about… um… -silence-

(Patient) Doctor?

(Doctor) Well that’s the gist of it.

(Patient) The gist of what?

(Doctor) An Anti-Meme. Simple yet confusing.
