Typically used in Scotland to describe someone who participates in theatre/performing and tends to be quite obnoxious about it, also can be referred to as a 'drama wain'.
Tend to be overly excited and smiling all the time and melodramatic and attention seeking when in a negative mood.
More geared towards the ones who have been "doing it all their life" which means since they were children, hence wean / wain.
The Musical Theatre ones are the worst.
"I've done theatre all my life! I actually have rehearsals now, I'm the leading role in Fiddler on the Roof! I've also done loads of other musicals and plays and pantomimes, since I was just a baby, I was born for it!"
"You're actual such a drama wean."
A period of time spent dealing with someone or something's attention wanting: brouhaha: overblown theatrics or TMI
"she goes on and on, but i've got no comma for the drama"
"Girl, with a face like that, I might have a comma for that drama."
"Save yourself, put a comma in the drama".
Verbalase, A rapper YouTuber, spent $50,000 on a self-insert softcore hentai of him being bound and possibly raped by Charlie Morningstar from Hazbin Hotel. Allegedly, the animation was made around mid-2022, but things came to a head when the video was leaked in January of 2024 and was swooped in on by storm. Coincidentally, Verbalase had been asking for funds and was going broke, so people started making (possible) connections. After trying to avoid the drama for weeks, he finally addressed it on Twitter, squashing some rumors that a minor had been the creator.
Person one: Damn, did you hear about the Verbalase drama?
Person two: Yeah, I did. 50k is wild.
