Rushing something (usually a video game) in order to release it in time to coincide with a special date (usually Christmas or an anniversary).
The opposite of Development Hell, which is when a game takes forever to be released.
Christmas Rushing is generally a bad thing.
ET (Atari), Sonic 2006, and Action 52 are all examples of games that were Christmas Rushed. Today, they are considered some of the worst video games of all time.
Action 52 is considered the worst example of a rushed game because there really wasn't a reason for it to be rushed. The developer just demanded that the game be made in three months (even THREE YEARS would have been tight), and...well, yes.
However, Christmas Rushing doesn't always end poorly. For example, did you know that Sonic The Hedgehog 3 was rushed? Considering how amazing the game is, you probably couldn't tell by looking.
In light of pending rush events, one may experience arousal of the sympathetic nervous system causing increased adrenaline production and one or more of the following symptoms:
-acceleration of heart and lung action
-the "butterflies in stomach" phenomenon
-pupil dilation
-slight nervousness
-increased temperature (hyperthermia)
-stimulation, arousal, hyperactivity
etc.
Sarah: I've been running a high temperature and I can't seem to sit still. These symptoms all started ever since I received that email about Info Sessions this week...

Often melanie rushes have a flat booty and are fun to be around not rlly there often mean abusive and un trust worthy Melanie rushes also tend to be very dramatic.

A person that may or may not be somewhat chaotic. Seriously, they will be an awesome person or the worst depending on the situation. Secretly, they’re the best friend you need in your life.

Guy 2: “Woah dude! As in they’ll be awesome or crazy?”
Guy: “Yeah, that Amber Rush. Hopefully, they’re the good kind of crazy.”
