Scene Kids are the new wave hardcore kids. Often mistaken for emo because of people's ignorance. They are actually a happy new trend. They are the other half of the hardore civil war (meatheads vs scene kids) they also listen to screamo, techno, punk rock, indie rock and hip hop. All scene kids style and straighten their hair. Most wear eyeliner (not to be confused with emo eyepaint), girl pants and tight band/splash paint style shirts. It is rare to see a scene kid without converse shoes but, vans or retro shoes are also in their list of clothing accessories. THEY DO NOT CUT THEIR WRISTS... like I said before they are not emo and tend to dislike EMOtionaly unhappy people. In more urban areas scene kids carry hand guns and are more gang like. Most scene kids go to shows regularly and are seen in pits hardcore dancing.
From First to Last is a band scene kids might listen to while Dashboard Confessional is a band emo kids listen to.

A scene king is a boy that has excessive friends on popular websites like MySpace, LiveJournal and most recently Stickam. They take photographs of themselves in ridiculous angles to make themselves look a lot more attractive than they are in reality and may even also photoshop their already distorted images to further improve the quality. Their appearance basically consists of incredible hairstyles that include an array of many different colors, hair extensions, piercings such as snake bites, septums, monroes, guages etc., tight shirts and skinny jeans. They are often egotistical and stuck-up. They attend hardcore shows to make an appearance and start drama, even if they don't even like the bands playing.

A person that sucks a lot of scene boys dicks (especially if they are in a band, or straightedge with lots of tatts) to get more male friends but in the end gets fucked over and has no friends, or life at all.

I hope you got the information you needed from my post this is everything I have herd about scene bands I have quite a few more on my ipod but I got all this information from real scene kids. Usually they are really colorfull and branch off of emo kids.
