My kids are becoming baby zoomers because video conferencing all day with their classmates.
Zoomer for short. Created during Covid-19, this term refers to the generation of kids who had to go to school online due to the pandemic, many of whom were on the videoconferencing platform like Zoom.
This is an additional layer of meaning different to the previous use of the word 'Zoomer' (2018) which stops at identifying people as Generation Z / Millennials.
