Nerd Sniping: The act of engaging a nerd in one of their areas of interest; that they become so occupied they are unaware of anything else
Nerd Sniped: The state of a nerd so deeply engaged in one of their areas of interest they are unaware of anything else.

When someone takes something so far that it becomes nerdy. This happens in a couple of ways:
1: is when someone defines or corrects you with dictionary like precision.
2:When someone makes somethign that should be simple and makes it into something really complex by adding longgggg ass names to it
Guy : "Hey, let's go jump off that diving board"
Nerd: " Watch me do a triple backflip while rotating at 2.4 m/s at 57 degrees south of west, and land in the water creating a splash radious of exactly 3.4256 meters...."
Guys: " Uh.... nvm this guy is nerding it up, peace "
To get so exited over an event such as a video game, Twitter party, movie, or TV show, that you poop your pants in exitement.
Alvie was so exited when they announced the date of Comic Con that he released a Nerd Turd.

I put problems from the GLAT on poster board to have some fun nerd sniping. Man, is it easy!
1. A cool person who spends way too much time reading definitions off of urbandictionary.com
2. A total GEEK who passes time by insightfully expanding his.her vocabulary by frequenting dictionary.com
GIRL 1: EW! Why is that boy browsing dictionary.com?
GIRL 2: That's Steven, he's a total word nerd.
